About this Project
The Fairbairn House Heritage Centre (a 160-year-old farmhouse in Wakefield) serves as an exhibit and event space for the region of La Pêche.
In 2020, the Heritage Centre commissioned a series of display banners for their newest exhibit – A History of Transportation in the Gatineau Valley. The banners were designed to showcase a loose timeline through archival images, reference material and stories of various modes of transportation in the region.
The exhibit was accompanied by a printed poster and flyer as well as a souvenir postcard, indented to entice and attract visitors.
